Anti-Spam Policy
Appointment messages work because people expect them. As soon as they turn up unasked, they are ignored — including the ones that matter. We keep our systems free of unsolicited mail for that reason alone.
What we stand for
- Every appointment message relates to a booking the recipient made or that was made for them with their knowledge.
- Client data of one business is kept apart from every other business we serve and is never combined.
- Businesses that want to send newsletters must show us how their subscribers agreed, before the first mailing.
- We do not serve businesses that acquire addresses from third parties.
What we do not allow
- Reminders for appointments that were never booked, used as a pretext for contact.
- Turning a client file into a mailing list without the client's agreement.
- Offers packed into confirmations, reminders or cancellations.
- Making cancellation harder than booking was.
Our response to a complaint
- We confirm receipt and work out from the headers which business and which kind of message it was.
- If the complaint looks justified, sending of that kind stops for the business until it is cleared up.
- A confirmed breach ends the contract, and the address is locked against further mail from us.
- Blocklist operators receive the information they need at the contact address below.
Tell us about it
Received an appointment message that was not meant for you, or something you never agreed to? Forward it with the full headers and we will take it from there.
